Protas, a non-profit organisation, will facilitate the development of better treatments for common diseases and improve public health outcomes by combining smart randomized trial design with effective technology and collaborative partnerships. Protas seeks to engage a provider to develop and deploy a new, globally available, first in class Integrated Clinical Trials Management Platform. The expected indicative timeline is as follows: - December 2021-January 2022: Market engagement RFI Exercise - Q2 2022: Contract notice, supplier selection and tendering - Q4 2022: Contract award, requirements decomposition, design, development, and deployment - Q3/Q4 2023: New integrated platform (Release 1) goes live - Q4 2023: Initial support and transition This PIN and the accompanying Request for Information (RFI) announce the start of Protas' early market engagement for a clinical trials management platform. The RFI sets out the context and requirements of a future unified clinical trials management platform. The RFI includes questions at the end of the document that interested suppliers are invited to respond to. The objectives of this market engagement RFI exercise are to: - Inform the marketplace of Protas's upcoming requirement; - Understand potential solution options and service delivery approaches; and - Identify and understand potential commercial arrangements. The RFI document is linked to this PIN and available via the Protas supplier data room. Further information about this anticipated future procurement can be found in the Request for Information (RFI) document accompanying this notice. All information in the accompanying RFI document is provided in good faith but is indicative only and does not constitute an invitation to tender or an offer of contract. Suppliers wishing to participate in this RFI exercise should go to https://award.bravosolution.co.uk/protas/web/project/25420dac-7633-4e53-8878-129e3c733b77/register and complete the short online registration form to gain access to Protas' supplier data room. Having accessed the data room, suppliers should follow the instructions for initially downloading the Protas RFI and later for uploading their responses. Responses to the questions should be uploaded by 09:00 (GMT) on Monday 10th January 2022. Supplier responses uploaded after this time may not be considered. We hope that suppliers will be able to respond to all questions. Responses that only answer some questions are still welcome. All written responses will be reviewed. Protas may wish to follow up with suppliers directly to clarify or better understand their RFI responses. This would likely be in the form of a bi-lateral engagement taking place after supplier responses have been reviewed. If additional information is available it will be shared via the Protas supplier data room to all registered suppliers. Protas will use a supplier data room to share information, such as the RFI that accompanies this PIN and to receive supplier responses to this PIN/RFI.
