Masterplanning, Planning Permission - Orchardton Woods, Cumbernauld

Tender description

Scottish Enterprise is seeking to appoint a consultancy team to advance the Orchardton site in Cumbernauld through the planning consent process and secure its sale/disposal. Scottish Enterprise will conduct an Open tender process to appoint one supplier to provide the above services. The contract is for a period of 8 months, with Scottish Enterprise having the option to extend for a 2 month period (time only should this be necessary to achieve completion of the services). The estimated value of the commission is between GBP80,000 and GBP115,000 excluding VAT. This project will advance the long-term development strategy for the Scottish Enterprise owned site at Orchardton Woods, Cumbernauld. The aim of the project will be to secure planning permission in principle for a mixed-use masterplan, based on the Scottish Government endorsed 20 Minute Neighbourhood principle. Once a development strategy has been agreed with key stakeholder North Lanarkshire Council, Scottish Enterprise will then procure a lead developer to implement the masterplan.
