Lake Vyrnwy, Cerniau: Blanket Bog Vegetation Survey

RSPB Cymru manages 10,000 hectares of upland in the Lake Vyrnwy catchment, making up a quarter of the Berwyn SAC, SPA, SSSI, NNR. The reserve is internationally important for its features of dry heath and blanket bog. We require a baseline survey of blanket bog habitat condition and vegetation structure. The required survey is of upland vegetation on degraded blanket bog in northern Powys, Wales. The survey method is based upon the JNCC common standards monitoring targets for blanket bog measured in quadrats with additional vegetation structure measurements.
