Dilapidation Survey Work for the Scottish Prison Service

Dilapidation survey work and activity to take forward a dilapidation agreement / settlement with the private sector operator of the HMP Kilmarnock prison The SPS requires a contractor to undertake dilapidation survey work at HMP Kilmarnock and to develop a strategy to manage dilapidation activity on behalf of the SPS client. The scope of services reflects three dilapidation surveys required with the first in late 2021/22; a second a year later and third in early 2024. The contractor will cost the required dilapidation works and monitor completion of scheduled and agreed maintenance / refurbishment / remediation activity by the private sector operator up to the point that the prison reverts to public ownership / operation in March 2024. The contractor will support the SPS client side in commercial dialogue with the operator of the prison in terms or crystallising and negotiating any dilapidation settlement.
