The proposed tender process seeks to improve on Coventry City Council's existing infrastructure through a fully integrated solution for the day-to-day management of the Councils waste services; incorporating the ability for driver route optimisation, in-cab technology for the recording and reporting of service performance, and efficient integration with the Councils CRM and back-office systems. Since February 2010, Coventry; Solihull; Warwickshire; Nuneaton and Bedworth; Rugby alongside other local district Councils have been working together as a shared procurement service.
