Tender description

The City Surveyors Department is responsible for the management of the City’s operational and investment properties, and for commissioning refurbishment and improvement works to the City’s buildings. It is the mechanical and electrical services works associated with the Summer Works Programme 2022, which includes the Phase 1 of the Laboratory Refurbishment on C Floor, Refresh of Prep Block Common Parts including Lower WC Block, Phase 1 of the A Floor South Office& Reception Refurbishment, Calorifier Replacement and Phase 2 of the fire alarm upgrade to full PAVA. The design works for Phase 2 of the Laboratory Refurbishment and Catering Facility strip out will also need to be completed, but construction works won’t be undertaken within this academic year or as part of this project. The City wishes to appoint Consultants for the whole design and construction process from suitably technically qualified and financially sound consultants The Consultant will provide professional services as the Mechanical Services Engineer for the design, tender and implementation of mechanical and electrical works. The 2022 Summer Works at the City of London School for Girls (CLSG), are part of an annual cyclical refurbishment and replacement strategy. They form the predominant part of a combined construction and engine.
