The Athlone.ie website was last refreshed in 2015 and we have decided that the site need to be updated for several reasons including those noted below: • ONLINE DEVELOPMENTS: the website needs to embrace and reflect the change in online developments and user experience over the past 6 years. • CONTENT AGILITY: the platform must allow for greater agility for content addition of all types. (eg via bloggs) • SEO: To enable a site capable of being the best at SEO performance amongst our competitor set. • SITE SPEED: To improve the performance of the websites re: website speed and to achieve performance greater than our competitors.
