Tender description

There are c.250 researchers in Tyndall for whom monthly timesheets are required to be prepared and approved in order to satisfy the contractual and audit requirement of various funding bodies. The existing process is extremely time-consuming and is largely paper-based with lengthy cycle times (to distribute, collect and upload information) being too long due to the manual nature of the process and with growing volumes to be managed. A scalable electronic timesheet solution is required to support the efficient administration of the timesheet preparation, distribution and approval cycle and to provide visibility to key stakeholders across the organisation on timesheet compliance metrics via advanced reporting tools.
