Supply, Delivery and Installation of an Automated Triaxial Stress Path Cell for the University of Limerick

Tender description

Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery, installation of an Automated Triaxial Stress Path Cell for the University of Limerick. Equipment shall include all software required to operate the stress path cell which shall facilitate CIU, CAU, CID, CAD and UU testing of soil specimens under triaxial loading. Specimens of up to 100 mm in diameter shall be accommodated in the test setup. Accessories for both 100 mm and 38 mm test specimens to be provided in addition to all necessary software and pressurising equipment to facilitate soil testing under various geotechnical stress paths, volume measuring devices, submersible load cell(s) (10 kN or 5 kN), axial strain measuring devices i) specimen mounted local strain measuring device for measuring axial and radial strains + ii) an external mounted LVDT and de airing water system.
