SMBC Civil and Structural Engineering Professional Services Framework

SMBC New Framework. In line with the Councils core requirements the framework will be divided into the following three Lots. We expect framework providers to be able to provide all of the services within each Lot, should they be required. As shown below: • Transport Strategy, Planning, and Environment (Lot 1) • Structural, Transportation, and Civil Engineering (Lot 2) • Property Project Management, Delivery & Commercial Support (Lot 3) The unique specification for each commission through the framework will be provided at the time of commissioning each project, using the framework call off forms. Commissions will be made via mini-competition and in exceptional circumstances, by direct award. The purpose of having a Professional Services Framework is to obtain consultancy team services required to assist the Council to progress potential and actual schemes, from feasibility through to working with contactors in the construction of projects. A range of specialisms are required across all three Lots.
