Refurbishment works to Block MF Magee for the School of Health Sciences

Tender description

The Contract is for the provision of Works to Ulster University. The Tenderer shall provide the Works in accordance with the Employer’s Requirements as set out in the Employer’s Requirements (Document 2 of the ITT Documentation) and the Contract. Tenderers shall include within their Commercial Submission (Document 5 of the ITT Documentation) all sums required to provide the Works in accordance with the Contract. The works comprise refurbishment and alterations to block MF on the Magee campus to accommodate the teaching requirements for the relocation of the School of Health Sciences undergraduate degree programme to Magee. The completed refurbishment will provide a mix of specialist teaching spaces, staff offices, meeting rooms and ancillary accommodation. The work required includes the following: - Internal alterations to walls and doorways - New floor, wall and ceiling finishes throughout - Folding partitions - Modifications to entrances - Structural works to facilitate new layouts - Electrical services: removals, new LV power and outlets, new containment and distribution, new general and emergency lighting and controls, alterations to existing fire alarm system, access control - Mechanical services: removals, new ventilation, heating and cooling plant, BMS and public health services - Installation of AV equipment All adjacent pedestrian/vehicular access routes will remain operational for the duration of the works.
