Overnight Hotel Support Service

Tender description

<p>Medway Council Strategic Housing is looking to appoint for 108 nights a Night Support Service. This service is expected to operate overnight at a local hotel, used by Medway Council Housing for the temporary accommodation of people experiencing homelessness and who may have been placed by way of Medway Council&rsquo;s Housing Strategy and Partnerships Team, Rough Sleeper Initiative (RSI) and/or in response to Medway Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP). The service would operate on site at the hotel, working with the hotel staff in partnership or independently as required, meet and greet new placements, to carry out general welfare checks on the occupants, responding to matters such as anti-social behaviour, health concerns (including Covid-19), to see occupants out in the morning, supporting clients to make appointments with the relevant Housing Teams and reporting back through agreed channels to Medway Council Strategic Housing&rsquo;s Partnerships Team, Rough Sleeper Initiative and Rehousing Teams.</p> Keywords: Hotel, Support
