Eco-hydrological Guidelines for Blanket Bog Habitats

The second phase of the development of Ecohydrological Guidelines for blanket bog and associated habitat requires conceptual models to be applied to pilot sites using existing datasets. Phase 2 builds on the previous scoping study (FY19-20) for which a final report is available, and future development stages are anticipated. The eventual product will better define the diverse eco-hydrological characteristics of what is often regarded as a homogenous ombrotrophic feature. The new suite of upland ecohydrological guidelines will complement those already existing for the lowlands and will be used by partners across the UK to support regulatory decision making.
