Early market engagement for the procurement of weather broadcast graphics services

Met Éireann wishes to conduct preliminary market consultations with interested parties in relation to the procurement of Weather Broadcast graphics services. As Ireland’s National Weather Service, we would like to expand the reach of our weather forecasts by introducing ‘in vision’ presented weather forecast videos on our website and app, for which we require weather broadcast graphics. The weather broadcast graphics package must also be suitable for content across all main social media platforms. We are in the process of building a media room at our HQ and we’d like to gain a better understanding of how weather graphics software will interact with equipment in the media room. We also would like to discuss the opportunity with various Weather Broadcast graphics providers with a view to better understanding the offerings available in the market, as well as costings. Please note, this is not a call for competition. Met Éireann does not guarantee that a follow-up call for competition will be published. It is envisaged that preliminary market consultations will take place in early 2022.
