Tender description

Overview of the Service Drinkcoach is an online and app-based support platform to help people reduce their alcohol intake, reduce alcohol-related harms and improve people’s health. It consists of three support modes: 1) Self-assessment Alcohol test based on AUDIT – international best practice for alcohol screening. 2) The Online Coaching Service, delivering online Extended Brief Interventions to risky drinkers, via video call 3) A free App designed to help users track and change their drinking. Business case approved at September C&G meeting for: a re-procurement of Drinkcoach for two years with a one-year extension option. Cost would be expected to be £9,950 per year though rates may have increased slightly; we may also want to budget for more video sessions or a higher comms budget, so suggest factoring in around £12,000 a year at this stage.
