The Tender is for Direct Payment and Money Management Services. The Direct Payments service enable people to have control over spending their personal budgets and facilitates a greater degree of choice than would otherwise be available in how their support is delivered. This can be achieved through employing one or more personal assistants or through spending all or part of a personal budget with an agency who supply support workers to assist with meeting social care eligible needs. This tender is let in 3 Lots - Lot 1 - Direct Payment and Money Management Services - Direct Payment, Managed Accounts, Payroll, PA Register, Authorised Person Service, Promoting Financial Independence, Training and Peer Group Support services Lot 2 - Alternative Direct Payment and Money Management Services - Third Party Management with employment (Authorised Person) and Alternative Direct Payment and Money Management Services Only Lot 3 - Employer Insurance Cover - A service offered to enable the purchase of employee liability cover in relation to each personal assistant employed, offering protection to the service user from financial loss in the event of a claim Additional information: Please register via the Council's e-procurement system - CSW-JETS http://www.csw-jets.co.uk/ CSW-JETS is a sub-regional e-tendering portal run by In-tend.
