Community Services for BME communities in South West London

Tender description

The service will facilitate the involvement of BME community groups and individuals in the planning, design and delivery of health services. The service will bring together diverse individuals, groups and organisations from the community and voluntary sector and statutory sector who have a shared interest in the health care needs and provision of services to BME communities The service will have strong links with local communities and service providers to enable effective engagement and representation of patients from BME communities. The service provider is expected to join any networks that will improve and facilitate delivery of the service within existing capacity and the contract value. Aims and objectives of the service will be to ensure the needs and concerns of BME communities and organisations influence the commissioning and delivery of services, resulting in improved access to services and health outcomes.
