The Dairy Processing Technology Centre, University of Limerick is seeking a specialist courier with support services for temperature critical, time sensitive milk sample transportation. A lab sampling courier with temperature controlled storage for same day collection and delivery of milk samples from each of our industry partners, 1 day each week for a period of 12 months with the option of extending for up to 3 years (budget depending), commencing Q1 ’21. Collection points include: • Aurivo Co-op, Ballaghadereen, Co. Roscommon • Lakeland Dairies, Baileborough, Co. Cavan • Glanbia, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny • Arrabawn Co-op, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary • Tipperary Co-op, Tipperary Town • Dairygold, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork • Kerry, Listowel, Co. Kerry • Carbery, Ballineen, Co. Cork Same day delivery is required to Teagasc Laboratory Services Moorepark Co. Cork. There may be occasions that the delivery point may be changed to one of the below locations. • University of Limerick, Bernal Institute, Limerick, V94 T9PX • University College Cork, 1 College Rd, Cork, T12 TP07 • University College Dublin, Belfield, Dublin 4 • National University of Galway, University Road, Galway The initial contract is for a period of 12 months with the option to extend by up to 12 Months on 2 (two) such occasions. This length of this research programme contract is funding dependant.
