Tender description

<p>We are seeking to establish the level of market interest in providing a support service to help refugees settle and integrate into their new host community. As the largest dispersal area in the South West region Plymouth has a long and proud history of accepting and settling refugees and asylum seekers. As well as being a dispersal area, Plymouth has also participated in special resettlement schemes, whereby humanitarian migrants are granted a safe route of passage to the UK. These are ongoing and include both Refugee Resettlement Schemes and the most recent Afghan Resettlement and Relocation Schemes. Plymouth City Council and NHS Devon CCG are seeking a provider to deliver a service to support clients to have the best chance of integrating into local communities and opportunities to make a positive contribution. In accordance with individual aspiration, this may include access to relevant employment and learning opportunities, faith and community groups, support with maintaining their physical and mental health, leisure opportunities and other non-professional support networks such as befriending services.</p> Keywords: Refugee Integration, Asylum Seeker
