Cork Institute of Technology and Munster Technological University is tendering for the following - For a number of years CIT has been making use of a plagiarism detection solution called Turnitin. The institute is now requesting tenders for an initial term of 36 months for a plagiarism detection solution that can be used to compare submitted text-based files with an extensive range of public web, subscription-based sources and other student work. Students and teaching staff alike should be able to use the solution to clearly and quickly identify similiarity and common elements between submitted work and other prior work or sources with a view to supporting learning around academic writing and scholarship and as facilitating the implementation of institute policy regarding academic honestry and assessment infringement. The solution should integrate well with the institute's Learning Management System (LMS), Canvas.
