Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award. Please note that this is not a Tender opportunity and that the contracting authority intends to direct award the contract to the following provider Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych). This is to maintain training programme continuity and assist HEE in fulfilling mandate deliverables and actions of UK government policy including the Long-Term Plan and People Plan. The development support is required to ensure appropriate support for the Fellow to undertake a series of pilots after their scoping and gap analysis of the psychiatric curricula and educational delivery. Heath Education England [HEE] believe that Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) is the only provider organisation with the requisite expertise and experience to support the delivery of an enhanced generalist skills programme within core psychiatry training.
