Tender description

OSI's existing Field Device hardware is now end-of-life and has been integral to the OSi data collection workflows, including bespoke software development for optimum workflow operations. The procurement of new devices will ensure continued operations of OSI’s field surveyors on the integrated device hardware with the OSi GPS and Total Station hardware needed to capture data. OSI intends to invoke Article 32 of DIRECTIVE 2014/24/EU for the award of this contract. Section 3(b) of the article is applicable in this instance - ‘where a change of supplier would oblige the contracting authority to acquire supplies having different technical characteristics which would result in incompatibility or disproportionate technical difficulties in operation and maintenance’.
