For the Provision of the Supply and Fit of Tyres

Tender description

This is a re-advertisement due to the removal of the full Social Value Portal TOMs approach we are now using our internal light touch approach process. The Council is seeking to establish a contract for the duration of 3 years (with the provision to extend for a further 1-year period) for the supply and delivery of Tyres and Tyre Management Services. The scope of the contract is within the borough of Oldham and the contractor must provide both an onsite service at the Moorhey Street depot and a roadside assistance service. As part of the contract the Council requires the following services: • 24-hour response for call outs • Response time to call outs within the Oldham boundary of 30 minutes • Fleet inspections (carried out weekly) Categories of wheeled fleet items are as follows: • Cars • Light Commercial Vehicles • Passenger Transport Welfare Buses • Heavy Commercial Vehicles • Trailers • Agricultural Vehicles • Grounds Care and Plant Equipment • Refuse Vehicles
