Commercial Vehicle Information System: Enhancement and Maintenance/Support Provision

Tender description

This contract award notice is being published by the Road Safety Authority (RSA) for the purposes of confirming the completion of a public competition and the subsequent awarding of a contract for the Commercial Vehicle Information System: Enhancement and Maintenance/Support Provision (Reference number: ET1906). Lot 1: The RSA sought tenders for the award of a contract for the provision of services for the commercial vehicle information system: enhancement and maintenance/support provision. The RSA has appointed Fujitsu (Ireland) Ltd as the contractor. It is anticipated that the contract will be for a period of 6 years. The RSA has however reserved the right, at its sole discretion, to extend the term of the contract for a period of up to twelve (12) months with a maximum of two (2) such extensions on the same terms and conditions. The value of the contract as set out above is an estimate, based in part on notional assumed dates and volumes for the purchase of change control items, catalogue items and the execution of Optional Services (and including the potential extension of duration), which were used for the purposes of evaluation. The actual value may be lower or higher.
