<p>This specification has been designed to reflect local need and evidence from research into &lsquo;what works&rsquo; to improve outcomes for children and young people in Luton. All services commissioned by the Council will adopt the principle of positive engagement with providers outlined within the specification. This service will be run as a pilot for 1 year with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years. The service will contribute to the objectives and outcomes prioritised in the Luton Corporate Plan 2021-2023 &lsquo;which outlines our comprehensive, whole system approach to developing and improving children&rsquo;s services and identified key areas to make a real difference for children: by making Luton a child friendly town, where our children and young people grow up feeling happy, healthy and secure, with a voice that matters and the opportunities they need to thrive.</p> Keywords: children, safeguarding, Junior, Board
