Tender description

Following the Whitespider Blue Light Data Centre audit, an urgent issue was confirmed by the MCA's technical architects in respect of the Backup solution that could severely impact HM Coastguard operations. This RTP is to procure 3 additional storage arrays to enable the implementation of a resilient Backup regime to mitigate the risk of total loss of data in the Blue Light Data Centres. Design and installation work will be undertaken by teams within the IT directorate.
