21331 - Net Zero Business Support

Tender description

Support for local businesses to support them to reach net zero and develop clean growth strategies. The aim of this programme is to help SMEs to take the first step on their journey to net zero, to cut carbon emissions, enhance their environmental performance and future proof their business. This support will look to inform local SMEs on the government net zero objectives. It will identify the tools and resources established to support the reduction in carbon emissions alongside working with local SMEs to develop decarbonisation plans and commit to government emissions targets. This work should be complementary to existing and emerging local and wider regional/national business support, including, but not limited to: PCC’s C-Care project; Heart of the South West (HotSW) Local Enterprise Partnership’s (LEP) Growth Hub & Business Climate Support Programme; and UK Business Climate Hub from HM Government https://smeclimatehub.org/uk/. This activity will be funded through the Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG). All activity, including service delivery and defrayment, must be concluded by 31st March 2022 and the service must be free of charge to users.
