Worcestershire County Council (WCC) require professional services to support the delivery of highways and transportation services. The Services Required The required outcome of this procurement is to deliver high quality, cost-effective highways and transportation professional services to the people served by WCC. The service areas may include but are not limited to: o General design services o Project Manager / QS / Planner / NEC4 Project Manager provision o Ground investigation analysis and report o Transport modelling and business case development competency o Transport planning services o Ecology & sustainability appraisals o Planning application support o Personal travel planning delivery o Flooding - design, risk assessments, modelling, etc. o Road safety audits o Traffic services, eg: flow surveys, control systems, etc o Street lighting design services o S278 checks and Development Control support o Technical Project Commissions (including fixed asset technology; moving asset technology; the network (eg 5G network). o Land negotiation support o Surveying o Mechanical and electrical design services o GIS mapping The contract will be a single supplier contract, under NEC4 Professional Service Contract Option C target contract for a duration of four years with the potential to extend for up to a further four years, dependent upon performance and value to WCC, expected to be effective from mid-2022. The contract will not be exclusive and WCC reserves the right to procure services outside the contract. It is envisaged that the spend will be in the order of ?5m per year, but this will vary.
