Targeted Short Break Activites Stakeholder event

<p>You are invited to join us on Tuesday 23rd November 2021 to find out more about our new SEND Short Breaks Service: Targeted Short Break Activities for children and young people with disabilities. The event is taking place on Microsoft Teams between 10am and 12pm. If you would like to attend please let us know by emailing us at: SENDshortbreaks.review@cumbria.gov.uk The new service be delivered from 1 February 2022, and we are keen to expand the range of service providers so that we are able to offer real and meaningful choices to the children and young people who will use the service. We are looking for providers to deliver a range of activities. For example: &bull; one off or single day activities (eg taster days, outdoor adventure experiences) &bull; regular after school clubs and weekend clubs &bull; activities for specific needs &bull; holiday activities Families have recently completed our first annual Short Breaks registration process. This means we now have some really important data which illustrates the level of need and demand across the county. We would like to share these findings with you at the event on 23rd November so we can work in partnership to create a really exciting menu of activities for the families and young people of Cumbria.
