Procurement of a General Practitioner Medical Provision

Tender description

The Trust is looking to engage with the market to gather information on potential options for the provision of a General Practitioner (GP) Medical workforce model which would be able to provide support to the Stamford Unit. The Stamford Unit is an on site facility that provides intermediate care and complex nursing for patients that have been discharged from Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. The publication of this prior information notice is for information gathering purposes only at this stage and forms pre market engagement to better understand the market. This will allow the Trust to formulate a future strategy for the procurement of a General Practioner Medical provision. The Trust would like to invite interested suppliers to contact Alexandra Diamond (Head of Procurement) via email (alexandra.diamond@tgh.nhs.uk) to register their interest in this opportunity with a view to further engagement and information gathering to follow. Suppliers are asked to express their interest to engage further no later than Friday 26th November. The Trust will make contact with all interested suppliers following this date. Lot 1: The Trust has recently implemented a blended workforce model which currently operates alongside an exisiting General Practitioner (GP) onsite provision. The Trust is looking to maintain a GP provision but would like to engage with the market to understand options/suggestions for a succesful workforce model to support.
