Tender description

The objective of this project is the identification, design and submission (for planning consent/confirmation) of a Flood Relief Scheme, that is technically, socially, environmentally and economically acceptable, to alleviate the risk of flooding to the Community of Kenmare in County Kerry to a determined Standard of Protection, and to procure, manage and oversee the construction of that Scheme. The tasks that are to be carried out to fulfil this objective are described in detail within this Tender Specification. The general timeframes indicated by the client in relation to the Contract Duration are intended as an aid to Tenderers and are for information purposes only. They have no contractual standing throughout Stages I-V. It is the responsibility of the Tenderer to resource, generate and price their realistic and achievable programme, which then will be part of the contract, on signing.
