Tender description

The Science Division (SD) of the Health and Safety Executive invites bids for the Supply, Build and Installation of a Low humidity/Oxygen Glove box for battery cell analysis post-destruction, and for cell disassembly, Buxton SK17 9JN. Basic information: • A two glove design chamber, with low moisture (<1ppm) and low humidity (<1ppm) gas purification system. • Should have both a large antechamber, and a smaller one for pass through of tools/small objects. • Should come with stand, and illumination for interior. • Gas purification system should be capable of regeneration. Should give real-time indication of current oxygen/humidity levels. • Should be capable of working under slight positive or negative pressures (as set). • Ideally would also contain a purification system for removal of solvent vapours. Most ideally, this should be regenerable. • Ideally would be of design concept would be modular to allow future expansion.
