The EXPERIENCE project is looking to extend the visitor season and grow visitor numbers during the traditionally quieter season (Oct-Mar). To achieve this, the project requires a central PZ destination website that will communicate the new offer to visitors. In order to meet the project marketing campaign approach, the project needs to procure a photographer to take photos of the pilot area. They will also be used to capture images of the project launch event and document the unveiling of the Gwelen trail. The photographer will be commissioned to develop a high quality, inspirational portfolio of photography that will be used for Cornwall Council communications, promotional and marketing material for the EXPERIENCE marketing campaign, being used on Cornwall Council external marketing and communications literature, media, social media, and internal communications etc. We’re looking for creative ways to represent visitor experiences through images for use on all communications materials, including website, leaflets, social media and marketing campaigns. We are therefore looking for a mixture of orientations (landscape/portrait/can be used as square). The photographer will be required to capture images of key sites in the Penzance and Marazion area in the autumn and winter period, demonstrating the atmospheric and enchanting qualities that the area has to offer to tourists during the low season. Due to the project’s focus, the photography must capture people's attention. As the project aims to increase out of season tourism, we want to promote the accessibility and experiential qualities of this area, regardless of the weather. For example, the use of beaches by families when it’s raining, or couples visiting Penlee House to marvel at its history on a drizzly wet day.
