Tender description

Hull City Council (the Authority) is leading this Further Competition exercise, on behalf of the Association of Directors of Public Health (Yorkshire and Humber) (the Customer), representing up to 15 Local Authorities (LAs) (the Participating LAs) within the region. The objective is to set up a trainee scheme to develop a pipeline of Public Health Intelligence (PHI) specialists to provide both short- and long-term health intelligence support to the COVID recovery programme. To meet the objective, four of the participating LAs - Wakefield Council, Hull City Council, Sheffield City Council, Leeds City Council (the Employing LAs) - shall recruit up to two trainees each on a 2-year fixed-term contract, and they shall complete a Level 4, Data Analyst apprenticeship. Once the trainees have completed their apprenticeships, they shall be able to fill substantive posts. Keywords: apprenticeship
