Tender description

The City of Edinburgh Council (the Council) operates a weather maintenance program which relies on Weather Forecasting Bureau and Associated Services to be provided for the Council’s weather monitoring stations. This Contract will provide the Council with a mechanism to make gritting decisions throughout the winter season. In turn, this allows the Council to discharge its duties under the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 and is considered an essential service that must be provided.
