Apprenticeship Training Provision Tender (2021)

Tender description

Update: the tender is live, closing date for submission of tender responses is 18/01/22. Southern Water’s ambition is to develop comprehensive apprenticeship scheme to be able to offer a variety of apprenticeships in all areas across the business. This is to help SWS to upskill current employees, attract new talent, close skill shortages by providing niche training in alignment with objectives to create new jobs (following recent investment) and would aid to increase staff retention in longer perspective. To achieve the above objectives SWS (Southern Water Services) is looking to secure future provision through a new multi-lot framework. For tendering purposes and to attain enhanced long term provision of apprenticeships the following separate areas have been identified in the business and will form the lot structure of the tender: - Corporate Business Services; - Construction and Engineering - Environmental, Protective services; Heath & Safety, Science Service providers will be able to submit responses to more than one of the lots, based on their skills and capabilities. Differing number of service providers will be awarded a place on the framework under each of the lots. The tender is not yet issued, it is due to be released via Bravo at the beginning of December 2021.
