Worcestershire County Council (WCC) requires a supplier for the provision of an Early Years Needs Assessment. The aim of this Needs Assessment is to provide a deeper understanding into the needs of our young families and the provision, support and assets available to support Worcestershire to shape our "Start for Life' offer for babies, infants, children and families, our development of Family Hubs and to inform our Early Years Strategy. The Needs Assessment will provide insight into: • Worcestershire's current early years population • The current needs and outcomes of babies, infants, pre-school children and their families • The evidence for how best to support improved outcomes in early years • Mapping of current provision and support for families with children aged 0-5 • The views of local communities regarding their needs and experiences of support in early years • Local community assets in Worcestershire and how these can best be utilised to enhance service provision This information will be used to inform how we will deliver an effective 'Start for Life' offer in Worcestershire, design and develop our Family hubs and inform our wider early years strategy. It will also outline the actions required locally to ensure the Start for Life offer is in place and accessible to Worcestershire's early years population and their families.
