Tender description

The National Parks and Wildlife Service of the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage own and manage the area known as Clogheen Marsh (mapped as Cloheen Strand Intake (W378 390) near Clonakilty, Co. Cork. We now wish to commission consultants to undertake surveys and prepare a management plan to deliver the primary objective for the site; this being the most appropriate ecological conservation of the site’s habitats and species. Secondary objectives will be to enhance the biodiversity and conservation value of the site; and to enhance its local amenity and/or wider educational potential while compatible with the primary objective for the site being the conservation of biodiversity
