<p>This project is funded by European Regional Development Fund as part of Welcome Back Fund. The project is about design, construction and build of temporary public realm improvements in Barrow Town Centre, with a focus on Dalton Road area to encourage people to move safely around the town centre and spaces for people to spend time. This project can only fund temporary works that do not benefit a specific business. Therefore, the design brief must take this into account. Barrow Business Improvement District have agreed to enter into a contractual arrangement with the Council to assume responsibility for repairs, maintenance and moving of the temporary public realm improvements and will need to be consulted with after award of tender.
