Tender description

Replacement hub units to support analogue to digital switch. A Scotland wide switchover deadline of 2025 has been set when existing analogue telephony provision will be transferred to digital telephony provision. The new digital telephony network will not support analogue telecare equipment safely and securely. In order to ensure service users continue to benefit from the telecare equipment when telephone lines become digital, the lifeline in each property must be upgraded to a digital version compatible with the new digital phone lines to ensure continued connectivity to Careline in the event of an emergency.
