Scientific Support Services for “Provision of Finfish Aquaculture Licencing Advice”

Tender description

The Marine Institute (MI), a semi-State body, wishes to invite tenders for the supply of Scientific Support Services for the “Provision of Finfish Aquaculture Licencing Advice” for a period between January 2022 and December 2023, (subject to approved funding). Salmon aquaculture licence reviews is a high priority for Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine (DAFM) and the MI. Finfish aquaculture licence applications are subject to Environmental Impact Assessment and therefore, the workload of administrative and technical review is considerable. At present a requirement exists for support services working within the Marine Institute headquarters in Galway and in line with National and MI COVID guidelines) for the “Provision of Finfish Aquaculture Licencing Advice”, for a period between January 2022 and December 2023 (subject to approved funding). This is an Open Invitation to Tender with any qualified service providers invited to respond.
