Perth & Kinross Council was seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor for refurbishment and extension works to Letham Community Wellbeing Hub located at Tweedsmuir Road, Perth, PH1 2HJ. Perth & Kinross Council sought to appoint a Main Contractor to work collaboratively with the Design Team, Perth & Kinross Council Representatives and the Client to assist with the delivery of their proposed plans to refurbish and extend Letham Community Wellbeing Hub, Tweedsmuir Road, Perth PH1 2HJ. The main objective of the Project is to create a new community building that is fit for purpose and will meet the needs of the community. The six key areas are as follows: 1. Refurbish the fabric of the building to make he building as energy efficient as possible 2. Replace the mechanical & electrical installations throughout 3. Relocate the first floor Gym to ground floor level so that it can be utilised by all users and be fully inclusive 4. A purpose built café area also housing a new soft play area 5. Create office accommodation 6. Refurbish all showers, changing areas and toilet facilities.
