Provision of Services for the Mechanical installation of Dust Collection System at Smartply Europe DAC

Tender description

Smartply are seeking tender submissions from suitably qualified mechanical installation contractors to install a new Scheuch impulse round filter for the collection of dust as fuel for the new Energy Plant & Dryer (EP&D) being installed as part of the Renewal Project. This filter is replacing an Existing 1995 Donaldson Torit filter that is presently collecting the dust to be burnt in the existing dryers. The objective of the installation is to provide a new filter located close to the new Energy plant that will comply with new EPA limits, Safety by locating the filter external, and increased extraction capacity for the future production requirements. This project is entwined with the larger EP& Dryer install project. This Projects Schedule and activities will need to be coordinated with the main Dryer project. It is envisaged that most of the installation will take place prior to the switch over shutdown. (March 2022) The balance of the install and commission will follow the decommission of the existing Torit filter during the Switch Over shut down.
