De Montfort University earlier in 2021 significantly invested in its’ Health and Life Sciences (HLS) Faculty with the installation of a complete Clinical Skills Simulation Suite Solution in order to advance its’ healthcare training functionality and capability. The University is now looking to further expand this capability within the University including across other buildings on site across the campus. Further to facilitating this development and with further funding now anticipating to become available, DMU now require a range of Manikins and hence this further procurement which suppliers are invited to Tender for.Full details relating to the procurement and any future Contract award, including full Scope, Requirements and Award Criteria are contained within the Invitation to tender document, reference 1725/21 on the e-tendering portal https://in-tendhost.co.uk/demontfort/aspx/Home, through which all clarification questions and subsequent Tender submissions must be uploaded. Lot 1: Patient Simulator and Other Manikins for HLS and the Clinical Skills Simulation Suites at De Montfort University Lot 1 Lot 1: For the provision of Patient Simulator Manikins and which must be compatible with the current LearningSpace Solution recently installed through a major procurement undertaken by the University earlier in 2021. Lot 2: Patient Simulator and Other Manikins for HLS and the Clinical Skills Simulation Suites at De Montfort University Lot 2 Lot 2 – For the provision of Rescue Manikins. These do not need be compatible with our existing LearningSpace Solution. Lot 3: Patient Simulator and Other Manikins for HLS and the Clinical Skills Simulation Suites at De Montfort University Lot 3 Lot 3: For the provision of Robust Manikins. These must be suitable for training paramedics and must be highly anatomically correct, accurate, lifelike and robust (including both child & adult form). These do not however need to be compatible with our current LearningSpace Solution.
