Maintenance of BSB Fire & Smoke Dampers/Panels

Tender description

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) relates to a project to establish an agreement for the Maintenance of BSB Fire & Smoke Dampers/Panels (UOS-22089-2021) at the University of Strathclyde. The estimated value of the Contract across a 48-month period is GBP 28,000, exclusive of VAT. The University of Strathclyde (the "University") has three buildings on campus with BSB fire & smoke dampers/panels. One building has two panels, so there are four BSB fire & smoke damper panels in total. The University is seeking a Contractor who will have the necessary competence to provide maintenance services for the University's BSB fire & smoke dampers/panels. Interested bidders will be required to demonstrate that they have the following; - Personnel who are fully trained, and certified by the manufacturer to work on BSB systems, including both electro mechanical panels, and fully addressable panels; - Have their own copy of the manufacturer's licensed software to program the panels, including fully addressable panels; - Have their own copy of the manufacturer's licensed software to fault find; - Have access to software updates; and - Are able to provide a full call-out service.
