The EXPERIENCE project is looking to extend the visitor season and grow visitor numbers during the traditionally quieter season (Oct-Mar), specifically growing sustainable visitors that leave a positive impact on the local environment and host communities. The programme aims to create appealing places to live, work and visit. Increasing off-season visitor numbers alone will not achieve this. Increased numbers of visitors must benefit (or have a neutral effect) on the economy, environment and society of pilot regions. This is important to ensure the sustainability of the project’s activities. The project is looking to create marketing materials, which will help showcase the project and provide an established and appealing voice within the tourism market that will attract visitors to Cornwall during the quieter months. This will be done through: - Micro-website pages on leading tourist destination websites - Newsletters to EXPERIENCE network - Advertisement for targeted visitor profiles - Themed low season itineraries - Destination itineraries builder app - Print & digital copy material To do this, Cornwall Council will construct an identifiable branded writing style to ensure uniformity and distinction within the local market. The EXPERIENCE team is looking to procure a copywriter to create and maintain this brand throughout the duration of the project. This will take place through a 3x quote tender process. The project is looking to work with an organisation/ copywriter that is experienced in leading on copywriting to oversee any materials produced to maintain a consistent style throughout the project. They will also produce a versatile range of copywriting content, with the core factual information provided by the project, being drafted into consumer-focused content.
