Tender description
In March 2021 Council Cabinet approved the awarding of grant(s) of up to £17.25 million to SmartParc Spondon Limited to support the regeneration of the former Celanese site at Spondon. In May 2021 the PMO Board approved Gateway 3 and the submission of the Full Business Case to D2N2 for funding of £12 million. The D2N2 Investment Board approved the FBC on the 24thJune and the investment decision is subject to ratification at the D2N2 Board on the 7thJuly. The Council is about to enter into a grant to Smartparc Spondon Limited to the value of £11.75 million and is seeking to appoint an Independent Monitoring Surveyor to provide assurance that the costs claimed are reasonable and eligible in accordance with the Funding agreement.
