East Lothian Climate Forest

Tender description

East Lothian Council (ELC) is seeking a delivery partner to assist us in delivering an East Lothian Climate Forest by planting 2 million trees across East Lothian. ELC has an approved policy intent to develop an East Lothian Climate Forest, which would be delivered by an East Lothian Climate Forest Partnership with links to our communities. We intend to develop a 10 year strategy that will aim to plant 2 million trees across East Lothian, to enable us to reach our target of a carbon neutral East Lothian and deliver biodiversity and green network benefits. East Lothian have an approved policy intent to develop an East Lothian Climate Forest, which would be delivered by an East Lothian Climate Forest Partnership with links to our communities. Council Officers have had initial discussions to scope the proposal and now wish to procure an external delivery partner to support this process. In order to ensure we can consider all potential options and set appropriate parameters for the procurement process, we are conducting this PIN. We would be grateful for your input and feedback to assist us to develop the correct specification and parameters to procure a specialist delivery partner to enable us to deliver a Climate Forest in East Lothian.
