Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) is contemplating the procurement of a Medical Device Integration Platform (MDIP) to support the integration of medical devices and systems. The ambition for the CHI’s main site building is that it will operate with a high degree of digital integration. Integration of medical devices into the hospitals digital environment is one of the projects key deliverables and supports a number of strategic objectives which include: • automation of patient data gathering and distribution to the relevant clinical systems • electronic distribution of clinical data from medical devices to care givers to support clinical decision support at a distance • implementation of alarm management protocols • distributing clinical alarms derived from medical devices • support for smart management of medical devices Lot 1: Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) is contemplating the procurement of a Medical Device Integration Platform (MDIP) to support the integration of medical devices and systems.
