Tender description

Brighton and Hove City Council is seeking competitive tenders for Corporate Cleaning Services. The cleaning services are required for 91 buildings across Brighton & Hove and will include but are not limited to Council offices, schools, day centres, hostels, industrial premises, nurseries, children centres, sheltered housing, The Brighton Centre and community centres. This service will be split into 3 building type Lots. • Lot 1 - Office Buildings & The Brighton Centre • Lot 2 - Schools • Lot 3 - Mixed Buildings. Each Lot within the tender has an approximate value of £700K per year, however the Council does not commit to a minimum or maximum spend for each Lot. A maximum of one Lot can be won by each bidder. Each bidder is encouraged to bid on all three Lots and is asked to complete all evaluation question including the Lot specific questions related to the Lot or Lots they are bidding for. Each bidder will be asked to express a preference in the event they are selected as the preferred bidder for more than on Lot. Please note that a total of 3 contracts will be awarded as a result of this procurement Lot 1: Office Buildings & The Brighton Centre This Lot contains 21 buildings and is a combination consisting mostly of offices varying in building type, age and structure. Lot 2: Schools This Lot contains 17 buildings and consists solely of schools. The cleaning will be carried out based on one generic cleaning specification. This specification will include periodic deep cleaning at set times of the year Lot 3: Mixed Buildings This lot contains 53 buildings and consists of a variety of building types incorporating day centres, hostels, industrial buildings, sheltered housing, libraries, children's centres, community centres and nurseries.
